3 in 30: The Month in Review

(1) Re-evaluate My Fall Capsule Wardrobe... Now that I have completed the Twenty Twenty September challenge, I feel like I am in a better place to identify what I have that works, what needs to be replaced, what I still need now and what I will need as it gets colder.

I have done well with that this month, and I think I have a pretty good fall capsule wardrobe!!

(2) Create a Dressing Your Truth Type 3 Bedroom... I have spent a month or more working on creating a type 3 wardrobe, but have decided that I would like to support myself with those colors and textures in my bedroom as well.

Still need to order the pillowcases, but I did buy a dressing your truth type 3 nightgown, so in that way, I am sleeping my truth! :)

(3) Create a Structured Homeschooling Plan for October & a Broad Plan for the Rest of the Year... The plan I had, which was to do lesson plans for the whole year, doesn't seem to be working. And I think it is going better to adjust as I go along. But I would like to plan ahead just a smidge.

I appear to have lost my homeschool scheduling mojo! I may carry this goal over to next month. But one positive thing that has come of planning one month at a time is that I can adjust as I go, which I have never done before. So I guess it's okay, all told!

How did you do this month?

We are in our 13th year of homeschooling and I feel like I have lost my mojo almost daily lately! lol I am very blessed to have teens that have fallen in into the routine and know what is expected each week so I don't have to worry too much about weather or not they are getting their lessons done. That is something I love about homeschooling. The schedule is your time! :-)

I love the idea about your bedroom! Post pictures when you're done. I bet it's going to look great! Homeschool planning can be such a chore, huh? I like shorter terms or month by month. Personally, I can't plan a year ahead and stick to it. #3in30 Blessings!

Hi Lorie! Wow, 13 years. I'm impressed! But so glad you can relate to losing your mojo. And also, I look forward to having a teen who knows the routine.

Hi Mommie Kate! Thanks!! Yes, I think I will post pics because I think I'll carry that goal into next month.

I'm glad you understand what a chore homeschool planning can be!! And I think I am learning that I like month-to-month, too. Thanks for your encouragement about that.

The 3 in 30 goals is a great idea. I'll be following your posts to see what you pick up next. Creating a Tone III bedroom might be a great idea, but I know that re-painting my purple walls is not a project I'll be taking on soon!!!

Hi Chris! LOL!! I won't be doing any painting. But I will change the color of my pillowcases, sheets and towels. Maybe even my shower curtain.
